Reading the result

The fee is highest at a price of $0.50 and falls towards zero near $0 and $1, because the formula multiplies price by (1 − price). Rounding up to the cent matters most for small orders. The full derivation and a worked example are in how Kalshi fees are calculated.

To see what the fee does to a two-leg trade, use the arbitrage calculator, and to turn the result into a yearly figure, use the annualised return calculator.
