# Arbitrage Calculator — Arbitrage Agent

> Calculate whether a prediction market arbitrage opportunity covers fees and generates profit.

## How to Use

Enter the YES price from one platform (e.g. Polymarket) and the NO price from the other (e.g. Kalshi) for the same event.

- **YES price** — e.g. 0.44 (buy YES on Polymarket at $0.44)
- **NO price** — e.g. 0.52 (buy NO on Kalshi at $0.52)

## Calculation

- **Total cost** = YES price + NO price (e.g. $0.44 + $0.52 = $0.96)
- **Gross spread** = $1.00 − total cost (e.g. $1.00 − $0.96 = $0.04 = 4.00%)
- **Net edge** = gross spread − fees (~2% combined: ~1% Polymarket taker + ~1% Kalshi)
- **Profit per $100** = net edge × capital deployed

An opportunity exists when total cost < $1.00 and net edge > 0% after fees.

## Example

| Input | Value |
|---|---|
| YES price (Polymarket) | $0.44 |
| NO price (Kalshi) | $0.52 |
| Total cost | $0.96 |
| Gross spread | 4.00% |
| Net edge (after ~2% fees) | 2.00% |
| Profit per $100 invested | +$2.00 |

## Disclaimer

Assumes ~1% Polymarket taker fee + ~1% Kalshi transaction fee. Net edge only — actual profit depends on fill prices and slippage. Not financial advice.
